Microphlebectomy

Microphlebectomy iss a minimally invasive way to remove damaged superficial varicose veins. During the varicose vein treatment, tiny micro-punctures are made to allow for the gentle extraction of varicose veins and larger reticular veins using a special instrument.

Because this special instrument is used, large rope-like veins are able to be removed through only a pinhole incision, which is typically hidden in a skin crease if possible, so that no scar is ever visible.

Microphlebectomy vein treatments offer excellent results alone or when performed in conjunction with varicose vein laser surgery or Sclerotherapy spider vein treatment.

Your surgeon will discuss the best option for you after an examination and consultation.
